Office space on SquareFoot: the questions every market gets

The answers that are the same whether you are looking in Dallas, London or Singapore. Each market page carries its own prices and districts.

Do I pay SquareFoot?

No. SquareFoot is an office-space marketplace: you search every operator and building with prices in one place, tour what you like, and we connect you with the right broker or operator for the space you choose. The landlord, operator or partner pays; tenants pay nothing.

How fast can I move in?

Serviced and coworking offices can usually be signed within days of a tour, on six- or twelve-month terms with a month-to-month option after. Subleases with furniture in place take three to four weeks; a direct lease with a build-out takes three to six months.

What is included in a serviced office price?

A per-desk-per-month rate for serviced and coworking space normally includes the furnished office, internet, reception, cleaning, utilities, meeting-room credits and, in most countries, business rates or service charge. Printing, extra meeting hours, parking and dedicated phone lines are usually billed separately. We confirm what is included with each operator before you tour.

Where do the prices come from?

From the operators and landlords themselves: their published rate cards, their listing pages, and the quotes they send us for a specific enquiry. Nothing is estimated or modelled. Each page says when its numbers were collected; the international pages publish a JSON feed and a methodology page.

How do I ask for pricing on a space that shows "on inquiry"?

Open the listing and ask for pricing or a tour. A SquareFoot specialist confirms the current rate, what it includes and availability with the operator, usually the same working day, and sends you a priced shortlist of comparable spaces.

Does SquareFoot work outside the United States?

Yes. The same search runs in 546 cities across 127 countries, with prices in local currency, and introductions go to a vetted local partner or straight to the operator.
